John Franklin has been a licensed Realtor in Birmingham since 2015, and joined the RealtySouth family in June of 2016. During that time, he has sold nearly $50 million worth of real estate and helped over 100 individuals and families with their homeownership needs.

John has the rare background covering nearly every aspect of owning a home, including landscape maintenance and sales, banking experience including mortgage processing and underwriting management, and also project management work for a local homebuilder. As a partner in a contracting company, John has knowledge of how homes are built, as well as maintenance and renovation experience.

John is a native Alabamian and went to high school in Albertville, graduating from Auburn University in 2004. He and his wife, Kaylie, have two children, Mack (6) and Libby (2) and are active in a local church. They live on a mini-farm and are always working on fun projects. When he is not selling real estate or consulting on small construction jobs, John enjoys golfing, fishing, watching Auburn sports, and going to the lake with his family.
